“While earning your daily bread, be sure you share a slice with those less fortunate.” -from the book P.S. I Love You. As the christmas season arrives, we often think about what we want and are getting for christmas. Rarely do we think about those who will be lucky if they even receive one gift this year. This christmas season, are you going to do something to help lose less fortunate then yourself? Challenge yourself to go out of your way to help someone. What could you do?

I am going to try to help those less fortunate by donating food and my time to delivering Christmas baskets to families around the community. I also am going to go through some of my own things and give things away, but along with that I hope to volunteer somewhere to help so I can truly interact with those less fortunate and help them in any way I possibly can. One way I would like to do this is by volunteering at the St. Vincent De Paul soup kitchen which I am already planning on doing in January.
This year I am doing 4 angel tree gifts. This is something that my family does every year and it’s something I always look forward too. I enjoy giving to the less fortunate so that they are able to have a wonderful Christmas.
Every year at our parish we have an angel tree. My mom picks off an angel for each one of the kids. I get my angel and go shopping for them , wrap my gift and bring it to church. I like it because I am doing it on my own and its my personal way of giving back.
This year I am going to do an angel tree gift. It makes me feel good inside knowing I am making a difference to someone else in need. I love giving back to those in need especially at this time of year because everyone deserves to have a good Christmas. I also donate money whenever I see that the money goes towards helping someone get the basic necessities they need. I know that when I give back to those people in need that they really appreciate it and it makes them happy.
this chritmabi have found myself volunteering more than I have ever. I think I have had more opportunity and I have really enjoyed it. it makes you feel better to reach out and help someones Christmas better. Last Sunday I volunteered at the angel tree and i found myself really caring about what each child was getting
Just like every other christmas, my family and I will be doing many different things to help the needy. Usually my mom’s extended family and my family will buy many gifts for those who can not afford to buy them theirselves. Also we will donate food and warm clothing.
